Hey, I’m Cat (she/her). I moved to the Austrian Alps from the UK over 15 years ago. I started my career as a ski instructor, transitioned into photography and a few years also became a certified hiking guide. I love showing people the most special places in the Austrian Alps and capturing their adventure in photos they will treasure for years to come.

I’m British by birth, but I’ve lived in the Alps for over a decade. I’m fluent in German, but I love working with English-speaking clients, as I can really showcase my knowledge and love for this region I now call my home.

Experienced Local Guide

I qualified as a hiking guide (Bergwanderführerin) in 2022, but I’ve lived here for years before then. That means that I know this area like a local and know the best spots to take you.

Not at all. I have tours that can be customised to all abilities and hiking levels, from absolute beginner to experienced hikers. As a local hiking guide, I’ll make sure the tour is suitable for you, and will give you advice on what to wear and how to prepare for your tour.

Yes! The mountains around Innsbruck can be enjoyed by everyone. We have a selection of barrier-free trails and mountain lifts. I’ll chat with you about your needs and suggest some itineraries that are suitable to wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

Yes! The mountains around Innsbruck can be enjoyed by everyone. I’ll chat with you about your needs and suggest some itineraries that are suitable for children.

This is a hiking tour, but I will take photos of you during the tour. If your focus is a photoshoot (such as proposals or elopements, I offer that through my photography business Wild Connections Photography).

After your tour, I will personally select and edit the best photos. They will be delivered by email within 4 weeks of your tour. You will have the option to select and download your favourite images based in your package, and will have the option to purchase more if you can’t choose.

“There’s not such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing“. We can hike in (almost) any weather. If the weather doesn’t look good for the tour you’ve booked, I’ll contact you about possible alternative options or to change the timing. If the tour needs to be cancelled due to poor weather or unsafe conditions, your payment will be refunded.
